Joe graduated from AECC University College in Bournemouth with a Masters in Chiropractic, developing a strong interest in evidence-based, patient-centred care throughout his training.
He takes a practical and individualised approach to treatment, combining hands-on therapy with exercise, rehabilitation and patient education. Joe believes that good care starts with understanding what matters to each patient, whether that is getting back to sport, staying active, managing a persistent problem or simply being able to get through everyday life without pain.
During his training, Joe completed an additional clinical placement focused on working with an ageing population, developing experience in adapting assessment and treatment to the needs of older adults. He also developed particular clinical interests in the management of headaches and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, alongside a broader interest in musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions.
Joe’s clinical approach centres around thorough assessment and understanding the individual factors contributing to a patient’s presentation. He enjoys working with patients to develop realistic treatment and rehabilitation plans that are built around their goals, helping them become more confident in managing their own health and staying active.
Alongside his chiropractic training, Joe holds a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage and has developed further skills in soft-tissue therapy, rehabilitation and exercise-based care. He is passionate about continuing to develop his clinical knowledge and keeping his approach aligned with the latest evidence.
Outside of the clinic, Joe has always had an active lifestyle. He enjoys running, cycling and volleyball, as well as travelling and exploring new places. In July, he took on his first 50 km ultramarathon in Wales, putting his own training and resilience to the test. His involvement in sport has given him a personal appreciation of how important movement and physical activity can be to both physical health and quality of life.
Joe’s aim is to make patients feel listened to, understood and confident in their treatment, while giving them the knowledge and tools to take an active role in their recovery.
