What Is Radial Shockwave Therapy?

Radial Shockwave Therapy (RSWT) is a modern treatment that uses high-frequency acoustic waves to stimulate healing in injured or painful tissues.

These sound waves are delivered directly to the affected area, where they:

This process supports the body’s natural healing response, making it especially effective for chronic or persistent conditions.

Understanding Your Shockwave Consultation

Our 45 min consultation appointment is to assess your injury and if shockwave is clinically suitable. If shockwave is clinically suitable and you want to go ahead with treatment, the cost of this session will be included as part of the total cost of £280 for a course of shockwave ( you would owe £225 for the reminder of the course).

As shockwave is a treatment course, treatment can only be provided in the first session if you consent to the full course of treatment.

If we think, and you agree that shockwave isn’t the best option for you, the session will continue to be a normal initial consultation and the more suitable treatment will be recommended or performed in this session. We have priced this initial consultation at the same as our other consultations so this gives us the opportunity to still have a productive session if we think shockwave isn’t suitable.

If you have any concerns about booking this, contact the clinic before booking.
